Chinga

The Chinga mill was built in 1987 and is nestled between two rivers, the Rwarai River and the Chinga River. The mill employs over 780 workers, with 1 in 4 being female workers. The Chinga mill operates as part of the Othaya Farmer’s Co-operative Society, and all coffees from this Society are Fairtrade Certified. Project Origin continue to be impressed with the work of this Society and the quality of coffee they produce each harvest.
