Githiru

Across Nyeri County, specialty arabica coffee trees grow in conjunction with the native forests that brighten the landscape. Both coffee and tea agriculture provide a great source of income for the country, and with wet mills like Githiru factory producing typical cup profiles of citric acidity and medium body, it is safe to say the popularity of Kenyan specialty coffee is here to stay. The Githiru factory employs over 800 workers, including 32% female workers.
