La Abuela

La Abuela was named in honour of Digna Landero’s grandmother, from whom she and her brothers inherited the ‘little piece of paradise’ which their grandmother loved so much. It is a relatively small farm and produces a small volume of coffee, but the quality of that coffee is truly stand out. Project Origin and our partners Bridazul collaborate with Digna to improve the quality of coffee she produces, which results in higher prices. It is our goal to help producers like Digna work in an economically sustainable environment producing high quality specialty coffee beans that we can proudly share around the world.
