Maguta Estate - Embu Farm

Maguta Estate in Central Kenya is a network of farms and farmer groups within both Nyeri and Embu Counties that seek to empower the local communities by improving the quality of the coffees they produce and the methods used in cultivation and processing green beans. By working closely with Project Origin, Maguta Estate in the Embu farm have implemented a range of carbonic maceration processing techniques, adding a new element to a county characterised by its ranging landscape, with altitudes ranging from 515 – 4570 masl and the six major rivers that flow through bringing fertility and life to the crops and the people.
