Santa Gertrudis

Hacienda Santa Gertrudis has been in the Eguiguren family for over one hundred years and explored a range of coffee markets, from commodity coffee to specialty coffee. Hacienda Santa Gertrudis has a fully equipped wet and dry mill to process its own production, but also provides support to other local coffee farmers through warehousing, milling, exporting and technical support, to ensure they too can meet the specialty coffee standards. This has resulted in increased income for local families, who are able to reinvest in their farms and strengthen their family’s livelihoods – now that sounds like a Project Origin dream.
