Review any travel warnings relevant to you for visiting the countries on your origin trip. Many producing countries have occasional issues with civil unrest and/or protests. All travellers attending an origin trip assume responsibility for themselves and accept that there is always an element of risk travelling in developing countries. We do the best we can to keep our origin trips safe and accomodating, and encourage you to be considerate of your safety, too.
Pack for a range of temperatures! Think from 15-30degrees Celsius. It can often be quite warm at lower altitudes and in cities, but when we head up to the farms at higher altitudes, it's nice to feel comfortable. One good warm jacket and a light long layer can often be enough.
Check the vaccination & medication requirements for each country you visit and ensure you visit a travel doctor before travelling
Wear comfortable and sturdy shoes. Remember, we are visiting coffee farms, so expect to travers some dirt paths. One of our employees wore white shoes their first trip - they never did it again!
There could be children where we visit. It is not recommended you give them money, as this puts them in a vulnerable position when we leave. If you wish to give something to kids or producers,
