Coffee production in Mexico goes back hundreds of years, but the agricultural history for the people is not beautiful. Due to changing and conflicting government policies, coffee production has seen all angles of a rollercoaster. As an industry we know that coffee in Mexico tastes amazing, but it is time to share it further, and it is time to pay a respectable price for this product. Project Origin are beginning to explore this part of the world and we expect that, in time, Mexican specialty coffee will become more of a high demand product.
Mexico has one main harvesting period from November to March. Coffees will typically ship from each origin about 3-4 months after the harvest begins.
