El Suyatal

El Suyatal is one of five farms owned and operated by Nicaraguan producer Luis Emilio Valladárez Zelaya since 1992. The altitude and soil quality at the farm have enabled Luis to grow and produce high quality coffees, including several renowned natural processed caturra lots. In 2006, Luis and El Suyatal placed in the top 25 winning entries in the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence program, the world’s most renowned coffee auction program, and in 2015 one of his natural processed lots placed first. Project Origin is a proud supporter of Luis and his family’s work and enjoy sharing his coffees around the world.
