Beautiful Bolivia shows all the potential to be a great specialty arabica coffee producing country, but it lacks the infrastructure to refine the processing procedures and to transport the cherries across the land. Couple this with a history of poorly paid farmers, and it is no wonder why interest in Bolivian specialty coffee dropped. Project Origin has recognised the potential that exists here, and we are excited and ready to begin working together with these producers to create, refine and sell some extraordinary coffee from this landlocked South American country.
🌤️ Bolivia experienced more rain than expected this season, making harvest volume lower than usual and also delaying ripening and harvesting.
🌱 Volume expectations are lower than expected due to the weather patterns.
📦 We will be sourcing based on expressions of interest and keeping little, if any, Bolivian microlots in our inventory this season due to high demand and low volume available.
