Producer Wilmer Figueroa bought this farm in 2011 and from undertaking hard work to understand picking, sorting and drying, the coffee beans have improved greatly in quality. Sitting at an elevation of 1300m, the La Carolina farm employs 15 seasonal workers to help harvest the special, large-beaned maracaturra coffee.
