Located in the mountains in South Minas the São Benedito Estate is part of Grupo Sertão, who acquired the estate in 2003. It is currently equipped with modern infrastructure and has just the right combo of climate, soil composition, fertility, and professional producers to produce some extraordinary coffee trees with typical characteristics of the area. Those caring for São Benedito, and working in the surrounding areas, know the value of agriculture on the regional economy. Greater agriculture leads to increased profitability, which improves the quality of life not only for those working at the Estate, but also the quality of life of the planet. We can thank many producers for the work they contribute to the lots of São Benedito, and we can thank the command of Antônio José Junqueira Villela for overseeing the coffee culture and jobs and revenues for over half a generation.
